Our Opinion: Mill Town’s plans for ex-GE property are good news for a site — and a city — that need it
The more pessimistic among us could have been forgiven for fearing we might never in our lifetimes see real revitalization at Site 9, a landmark of General Electric’s time here and the gaping hole its exit left in the heart of Pittsfield. After last week, however, we have some welcome cause for optimism.
